Our team has expressed the desire to become their own business owners to help ensure their future security and continued success.
Most beauty industry professionals are still paid on a commission basis. Becoming a booth renter allows each to have complete control of their business and guest experience.
Ownership remains the same, we are however changing to a different business concept with this rental option for service providers.
Guest data, private information and the security for this information remains a priority for Funke. Raw full credit card data information is not stored or accessible by anyone at Funke. Your credit card data is encrypted and secured at WorldPay, the direct credit card processor we currently use. We remain industry standard PCI DSS compliant for the handling of credit card data.
Non-expired purchased gift certificates/cards and packages with outstanding balances will receive full value. Please work directly with Robert for best options regarding your individual situation.
Beginning in January 2023 our nail department will become renters. Most stylists will become renters prior to the end of Q1 2023. Please ask your individual service provider about their status here.
Beginning in 2023, nail care payments may be made directly with your service provider who will initially be accepting checks and cash as methods of payment. They will inform you of additional methods of payment as they become available to you.
The front desk will continue to accept payments for these services until each service provider becomes a booth renter. Payments may then be made directly with your service provider.
Jan. 2023 payments for nail services may be made directly with each nail care service provider. All other services may be paid for through the front desk. You will be made aware of any changes to this
Guests for these services providers may continue to work with the desk for scheduling or adjusting appointments as well as making payments for services and product purchases.
For nails, beginning Jan. 2023, with your service provider. For hair services in Q1 2023, the desk will still be answering calls and scheduling appointments. During a future visit, each stylist will inform you when they become renters and when you may begin scheduling and paying directly with them.
Yes. All standing appointments for 2023 have been scheduled for guests that have asked for them.
Salon products carried in the retail area may be purchased as usual at the front desk. Each renter now has the option of selling their own products. These may purchase directly from them.
The front desk will still be available to answer most questions. Robert will address any questions that may require more in-depth answers.
